Race your way through Paris!
12-18 September 2025
On your marks, get set and get ready to run in Paris with our small group and thousands of others during La Parisienne, Europe's largest running race just for women. The theme in 2025 is Super Heroines. If you're not a runner, please don't stop reading - we've got you (and you've got this! Remember, you're a super heroine)!
We will be putting together a special training Facebook group just for this trip. This way, we can choose the running plan that works best for us and support each other and help keep ourselves accountable as we as we get ready for our choice of 7km walk, run or 10km run. And if that isn't enough to get you running, wait 'til you hear about the route: the race starts at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and will take us past many of the City of Light's famous monuments. You will feel like you're running in a postcard, but surrounded by thousands of women and in a festive atmosphere.
After the race, we'll have the rest of the week to celebrate our accomplishments with group activities planned for every day that we're together. We will also factor in some time for you to spend at your leisure (or to hang out with the group - it's up to you), making this trip as suited to the first-time visitor as it is to the Paris habituée.
Special considerations:
-
You will be able to choose from two events with La Parisienne: either a 7km run/walk or a 10km race. Registration for the event will be done individually through a link that we will share at a later date and as such, the cost of this (typically around 50 euros) is not included in the trip fee.
-
Spots on this trip are limited and are reserved exclusively for people who identify as women. The rates are based on shared accommodations with twin beds. For those travelling solo, we will assign a roommate. Parisian hotel rooms are notoriously small but we have chosen a four star boutique hotel in the heart of everything with lovely public spaces in which you can relax and unwind in case you’d like to spread out beyond your shared room.
Highlights:
-
the La Parisienne race and training for it with our group
-
A luxurious afternoon tea in a historic hotel, where we can be as chic as chic can be. We can expect a three-tiered selection of treats: mini-sandwiches on the bottom, still-warm scones in the middle and three fanciful creations by one of Paris’ top pastry chefs.
-
A bike ride to discover the back streets and charming neighbourhoods of Paris.
-
A one hour sunset cruise along the most beautiful avenue in Paris: the Seine. We’ll sail past the facades of many of Paris’s most historic buildings all the way to the great iron lady, the Eiffel Tower.
-
A food tour and tasting lunch with a fabulous Parisienne in her beautiful apartment. We'll visit the most famous market streets in Paris, selecting tasty delicacies, which we will then enjoy for lunch with Champagne and wine.
-
A baking class where we will learn how to make croissants!
-
The ability to choose to spend your free time exploring the city as you wish - or to join the group on spontaneous walking tours around various Parisian neighbourhoods
